Dear Rev. Timothy Crellin,
We are the Boston Zone of the Indigenous People of Biafra in the United States of America
(IPOB-USA). The IPOB-USA is a registered entity in the State of Carlifornia with Corporate
number C3647016 and IRS EIN 46-5201060, and is registered as “S“ Corporation. IPOB main
objective is seeking for and achieving the freedom and independence of the sovereign state of
Biafra. The IPOB-USA is a part of a wider global family of Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB)
that works in collaboration with Radio Biafra London (RBL). IPOB is represented in over 80
countries around including the USA. We are agitating for the creation of a Biafra Nation from
the Federal Republic of Nigeria which was the condition proposed by Britain and agreed upon at
the entering of the 100 year amalgamation that ended in 2014.

We wish to thank you in advance prior to meeting with you tomorrow Tuesday, December 2,
2015 at 9 AM to discuss the Biafra freedom movement and struggle. But first we would like to
state that before the amalgamation merger that led to the creation of Nigeria by the British, there
was an area called Biafra which lies on the Bright of Biafra in the Southern Protectorate on the
original ancient world map of Africa. Lord Frederick Lugard and his wife (Flora Shaw) both
British came from India to the area and for the interest of the British empire to have total control
of the southern protectorate’s oil, petroleum, and other natural resources. Lugard and his British
masters then decided to merge the southern protectorate with the northern protectorate after
stricking a secret deal with the Hausa-Fulani who are predominately Muslim and Yoruba who
though were part of the southern protectorate, but were 50:50 Christian/Muslim population ratio.
At the amalgamation, there was fierce objection by the Biafrans who didn’t want to be a part of
the merger for the obvious reason that there is broad range of difference between the Biafrans
and the Yorubas, and the Hausa-Fulani of northern protectorate bordering on background,
customs, religious, value systems, etc. Biafrans are predominantely Christians although there
are very few Biafrans who worship idol, but the Hausa-Fulani are completely/predominately
Muslims. On the other hand, the Yorubas and the Bini-speaking people practice both faith (Islam
and Christianity) owing to conquest by Islamic jihardists. In order to move forward with the
merger, Britain put forth a condition that the merger would run for 100 years and would cease to
be binding thereafter, and any of the aggrieved nations can separate from Nigeria and is free to
go and form its own nation and govern itself.

Evidently, the so-called merger did not play well with Biafrans at all. The Hausa-Fulani, Yoruba,
and Britain committed series of violations against Biafrans in the cause of the so-called merger,
that included Britain introducing the indirect rule of leadership power that was granted to the
Hausa-Fulani and Yoruba population to favor them, especially in the exploitation of Biafra’s
resources (oil, petroleum, and other natural resources) to the benefits of Britain, Hausa-Fulani,
and Yoruba. In spite of the North which is the home of the Hausa-Fulani having more than 150
mineral resources that includes oil and gas in Borno state and substantial amount of oil in Niger,
and the West which is the home of the Yoruba having over 40 mineral resources, yet Briatin in
collusion with the Hausa-Fulani and Yorubas continued the endless and mindless exploitation
and rape of the natural resources in Biafra.

the entire Nigeria, introduction of sharia law, mandatory initiation of Islam for all students in the
Nigerian school curriculum, subjecting Biafrans to all sorts of victimization and nepotism,
establishing the politics of hateful propaganda, creating a practice of „divide and conquer“ rule
of thumb, character assassination, deprivation to the rights of freedom of expression, voice
silencing, persecution of Briafrans for their Christian faith, the three year civil war in which
Britain and Nigeria took the lives of close to three million Briafrans through indiscriminate
bombing and the blockade that resulted in the stavation of Biafran men/ women/children/infants,
and the despicable act of disembowelling, crushing, and mutilating of unborn fetuses from their
mothers wormbs. Britain‘s deliberate omission of the Bight of Biafra from the map of Africa
when Britain recreated the world map is an attempt to extinguish Biafrans from the world while
using the resources from Biafranland. These are just but a few of the grievous violations

into total chaos and divided the country when the 73 -year old Buhari, Obasanjo, and Britain
plotted the illegal arrest and incarceration of Nnamdi Kanu, the Director of Radio Biafra and the
leader of IPOB. Nnamdi Kanu is a British citizen, a family man with wife and children. In the
middle of October 2015, it was reported that Nnamdi Kanu left London heading to Biafra Land
to visit his parents and enroute Lagos-Nigeria, and checked in a hotel in Lagos as a guest. On
October 14, 2015, officers of the Nigerian Department of State Security (DSS) went to the hotel,
arrested him, and transported him their detention dungeon in Abuja, the Capital of Nigeria. This
is the very same jail facility for arrested Boko Haram terrorists that have commited the most
gruesome crimes against humanity.

Movement and Struggle of Martin Luther King Jr. is also looking the other way! Obama hasn’t
said a word on the Nnamdi Kanu’s illegal arrest, detention, and torture by Buhari. Why should

of every single Biafran. He has been secretly releasing the already-arrested Boko Haram
terrorists and then enlisting them into the military, equiping them in full military uniform, armor
vehicles, war weapons and deploring them to Biafra land on a genocide/murder mission to kill
unarmed non-violent Biafra peaceful protesters who are exercising their rights to freedom of
speech and calling for the release of Nnamdi Kanu leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra,
and for the restoration of their nation of Biafra. Just recently, Buahri deplored over 100 army
men from Warri in Biafra land to the North only for all of them to be attacked by Boko Haram
and murdered in cold blood.

(making it a mere “Igbo“ tribal agitation) the Biafra agitation and to criticize, mislead, deceive,
discourage, and scare away the younger generations of protesters for the restoration of Biafra.

killing the beleaguered and marginalized Indigenous Peoples of Biafra in Nigeria.
Americans are not aware of the genocide situation that Biafrans are facing under the government
of Buhari because the media is not reporting on Nnamdi Knau‘s situation and the Biafra
agitation for self-determination. Please anyway that you can make it possible for the Episcopal
Diocese to help will be highly appreciated. Trusting that this letter will give you a heads-up and
understanding of what we are bringing to the table for discussion with you at the meeting of
