Life is full of ups and downs, yesterday is History, today is the Present, and tomorrow is a Mystery. In life, stages and hurdles are all we jump. Moving continuously because once one stops moving one get stampeded. Once you stop upgrading yourself you get outdated while still alive.
To those who were fortunate to go to school, you may recall that before and after nursery, primary, and secondary education. Some of your classmates have gone out of the country or you cannot actually say where they actually are, until you met them one day unexpectedly, what a happy reunion. Others have completed university education and are now Doctors, Engineers, Teachers, Pilots, Lawyers, Administrators, etc. Others who did not further their education have delved into business and other areas of life endeavours.

Some have married, some have given birth. At the same time, some are dead, (Don't forget that too). Some-others are confined in psychiatric homes. Some are doing their masters programme, PhD, etc. Some haven't even gained admission into the tertiary institution. Some own companies, some are now Directors and majority shareholders of huge companies. Some are Professors, Priests etc.
But how do you feel? When you meet your classmate, and it seems like he or she has achieved his or her dreams and life ambitions, and you're not yet close to yours? So many thoughts would definitely run through your mind. It is normal. It is only an abnormal person that will not sit to reflect and re-examine his or her life. Even Socrates one of the greatest philosophers said that an unexamined life is not worth living at all.
How about the one you meet on the street wearing dirty rags, feeds on the refuse dumps and drinks from the gutters? Do you get the same thoughts running through your mind? If you did, your brain still functions perfectly.
First, you complain that God has not been fair to you, by not waking you up at midnight to ask you what you want as he did to Solomon of the Bible. But don't forget some are also dead. Somehow you feel jealousy for those ahead of you, it’s a normal feeling. But, you must not regret your life. We all are different and our path to greatness Is not same in distance nor are our greatness of the same magnitude.
It only takes time for you to be prepared to become what you are destined to be. Even pregnancy duration in animals differs, It takes a Dog few months to deliver her puppies, but it takes an Elephant two years, if not more, to deliver one single Elephant. No one will compare an Elephant and a Dog because the glory of the Elephant outmatches that of the Dog.

Some might reach before you, some might reach after you, but no matter the level you are present, please keep trying to break limitations and move further - slow but steady wins the race. Celebrate the success of others, it’s an automatic application for yours. Your friend buys a car now, Be happy with him or her. Remember when you get yours, theirs might not be the latest again. In Life good things never get finished, even a famous writer once wrote that the beautiful ones are yet unborn. So why kill yourself?
Life is not by competition, if not, we all will be born into one type of family, One religion and we would be the same in everything. Let the passion in you never quench the desire in you, Keep it burning. What you pass through, write it down because one day the world would be ready to read it. It is not fantasies, its an accomplished reality.
There's no height you cannot attain, just believe. Define goals and recognize distractions. Spend time teaching yourself, because the things that mainly take people to the top are the things they devoted time to develop. Don't be intimidated by your fellow's success, the sky is too wide that the birds can fly without touching themselves.
Value the small things that God bring into your lives, it is only when you value the little things that you can value the bigger ones that will come your way. Love God and do the work of God. For with God, all things are possible.
Now to those who are on top, never forget to give a helping hand to those who are down. Life is full of uncertainties; The one you pull up today may be the one to hold your hand to prevent you from falling down tomorrow.
