119:167.
Love is a
beautiful thing that is expressed amongst two or more people who are in a
relationship. When it's mutual, it becomes a powerful force that produces joy,
peace and harmony…
If I'm in
love with you, I'd ensure that I keep your word and treasure them so much. Do
you love God enough to keep His word?
The Psalmist
told us how much he loved God's word. You can't love God's word if you don't
love Him…
- What a man
loves determines what he spends his time doing.
- Who a man
loves determines who he obeys or serve.
Those who
love His testimonies are those who obey them. If you love Him, you'll keep His
commandments (John 14:15), you'll seek Him early before you rise to the
business of the day (Prov. 8:17) and you're going to delight yourself in it day
and night.
God has
loved you first (John 3:16, Rom. 5:8) and it's expected of you to reciprocate
by accepting His son, follow Him and seek to know the truth.
Who you
love, you honor. It's quite unfortunate that many do not love God nor honor His
word.
How can you
be in church and you're browsing, chatting, making or receiving calls? It shows
disrespect because that cannot be done to an earthly king.
How can you
love God and your body will become a temple of immoralities? Love Him not just
in words but in deeds (1 John 3:18).
Create time
to talk to Him, learn at His feet on daily basis and obey Him.
The deeper
your love for Him, the more of Him you know and manifest.
Nobody who loves God becomes
useless in life, they are always history makers.
What is your
soul sold out to keep? God's word? Yours? Or the devil's?
